Account Manager
Oversee and manage all aspects of assigned account’s transportation/logistics needs.
- Manage driver staffing, reporting and customer service
- Coordinate daily driver activity and routing to include driver log entry, invoices and work orders
- Maintain regular interaction with customers, Salem management, and drivers to ensure a positive relationship and open communication
- Oversee drivers’ daily workload – ensure drivers provide timely and accurate delivery
- Coordinate driver training as needed
- Ensure Salem and its employees remain in compliance with all DOT regulations
- Ensure all driver documentation is received and submitted timely (bills of lading, POD, driver pay sheets, etc)
- Ensure vehicle inspection reports are complete and associated permits and tags are current and up to date
- Provide leadership and guidance and ensure compliance with company policies and practices
