Account Manager

Oversee and manage all aspects of assigned account’s transportation/logistics needs.

  • Manage driver staffing, reporting and customer service
  • Coordinate daily driver activity and routing to include driver log entry, invoices and work orders
  • Maintain regular interaction with customers, Salem management, and drivers to ensure a positive relationship and open communication
  • Oversee drivers’ daily workload – ensure drivers provide timely and accurate delivery
  • Coordinate driver training as needed
  • Ensure Salem and its employees remain in compliance with all DOT regulations
  • Ensure all driver documentation is received and submitted timely (bills of lading, POD, driver pay sheets, etc)
  • Ensure vehicle inspection reports are complete and associated permits and tags are current and up to date
  • Provide leadership and guidance and ensure compliance with company policies and practices
