Salem Carriers is currently hiring a Transportation Leasing Sales Rep in Atlanta, GA area.

This is a great opportunity for a driven Sales person with a "can do" attitude. This person will have responsibility to expand our existing customer base. Salem is looking for a passionate, highly motivated, sales-minded individual to help grow our business. This position is suited for someone who is self-driven, goal oriented and has a focus on customer interaction. They are responsible for identifying sales opportunities, conducting sales calls and customer visits to help expand Salem’s footprint. New College Graduates are highly encouraged to apply!

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Build relationships with leasing customers by acting as a transportation consultant, conducting periodic reviews, and managing the voice of the customer process.
2. Proactively identify, pursue, and maintain a constant pipeline of potential customers that meet or exceed established quotas.
3. Responsible to extend or renew existing contracts before or upon contract expiration, as well as identify opportunities for customer growth in new locations and industries.
4. Ensure compliance with insurance standards to protect the company.
5. Prepare the necessary paperwork and deliver it to account to ensure timely invoicing.
6. Develop a keen awareness of the competition and competitive products, as well as business and industry trends.
7. Accountable for timely follow-up on each sale to ensure customer satisfaction.

Experience, Skills and Abilities Required for Consideration as a Candidate:

1. Experience with commercial truck leasing sales a plus.
2. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
3. Good customer service skills
4. Experience with MS Word and PowerPoint
5. Comfortable with cold call solicitation
6. Industry experience with an emphasis on sales and marketing preferred.
7. Knowledge of truck specs and applications a plus
8. Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply
