Job Summary:

Supports the VP of Warranty and warranty department in a fast paced and demanding environment with processing warranty claims for repairs on heavy duty trucks and trailers.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Data Entry - File web-based warranty claims and policies through multiple manufacturer software systems for 40+ shop locations
  • Determine warranty coverage, submit, and track until completion.

Other:

  • Process and distribute all factory campaign and recall customer notifications. Provide repair shops with the affected units and proper repair procedures required. File claims and report recall completion to manufacturer
  • Pull Warranty part return shipping reports and coordinate part shipping with each shop location
  • All other duties as assigned

Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities Required for Consideration as a Candidate:

  • Minimum 1-2 years administrative experience
  • Warranty experience and mechanical knowledge is a plus but not required
  • Computer literacy with strong proficiency in Outlook, MS Office Suite (Excel, Word)
  • Excellent communication skills, including writing, verbal, and listening
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Exceptional time-management and organizational skills
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to be resourceful
  • Must be able to work in a team environment with limited supervision

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
