This is a great opportunity for a driven Engine Bay Diesel Mechanic with a "can do" attitude. This person will be responsible of completing diagnostics, repairs and rebuilds on engine products. Must be able to rebuild an entire engine properly.

Responsibilities:

• Completes diagnostics, repairs and rebuilds on engine products in a service workshop under limited supervision.
• Disassemble, clean and reassemble engines and /or engine components.
• Performs preventative maintenance based on assessment of engines.
• Assists more experienced technicians with diagnostics and development of repair plans engines in the workshop.
• Review work orders and discuss work with supervisors
• Follow checklists to ensure all important parts are examined and other potentially troublesome areas
• Complies with all safety, DOT and OSHA guidelines
• Adhere to company rules and regulations
• Ensure cleanliness of shop and surrounding areas.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum three years recent medium/heavy diesel engine experience
• Experience working with Cummins and Detroit engines
• Ensure cleanliness of shop and surrounding areas.
• Must have own hand tools
• Basic computer skills
• CDL license preferred
• Good driving record and proven work history
• Must be able to work in extreme heat and cold temperatures

Experience:

• Diesel Mechanic: 3 years (Preferred)
• Cummins Engines: 1 year (Preferred)
• Computer Diagnostic: 1 year (Preferred)
• Detroit Engines: 1 year (Preferred)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
