Salem Carriers is looking for an aggressive sales professional in the truck leasing industry that wants to take ownership and expand the leasing business. We are growing and need additional sales personnel on the streets taking care of the customer while building a great business territory. This is a great opportunity of growth and success in the commercial truck leasing industry.

You will be responsible for establishing the leasing sales targets to meet our team needs. Develop strategic sales plans based on our goals that will promote sales growth and customer satisfaction for the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Client development and relationships
  • Ensure compliance with insurance standards to protect the company
  • Prepare the necessary paperwork and deliver it to account to ensure timely invoicing
  • Develop a keen awareness of the competition and competitive products, as well as business and industry trends
  • Accountable for timely follow-up on each sale to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company handbook
  • Professionally represent our company in business associate activities
  • Present products in a professional and confident manner
  • Prepare proposals
  • Coordinate with customer and finance companies for payment options
  • Achieve goals and successfully manage accounts
  • Must adhere to all company and location policies and safety rules
  • Must be able to work extended hours when required
  • All other duties as assigned

Experience, Skills and Abilities Required for Consideration as a Candidate:

  • Experience with commercial truck leasing and truck sales required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good customer service skills
  • Experience with MS Word and PowerPoint
  • Comfortable with cold call solicitation a must have
  • Industry experience with an emphasis on sales and marketing preferred
  • Knowledge of truck specs and applications

Experience:

  • Outside sales: 3 years (Required)
  • Commercial 18 wheeler truck leasing and sales: 3 years (Required)
