Supports the VP of Warranty and warranty department in a fast-paced environment with processing warranty claims for repairs on heavy duty trucks and trailers.
Primary responsibilities:
- Data Entry - File web-based warranty claims and policies through multiple manufacturer software systems for 40+ shop locations
- Determine warranty coverage, submit, and track until completion.
Other:
- Process and distribute all factory campaigns and recall customer notifications. Provide repair shops with the affected units and proper repair procedures required. File claims and report recall completion to manufacturer
- Pull Warranty part return shipping reports and coordinate part shipping with each shop location
- All other duties as assigned
Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities Required for Consideration as a Candidate:
- Minimum 1-2 years administrative experience
- Warranty experience and mechanical knowledge is a plus but not required
- Computer literacy with strong proficiency in Outlook, MS Office Suite (Excel, Word)
- Excellent communication skills, including writing, verbal, and listening
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to be resourceful
- Must be able to work in a team environment, with limited supervision
