CDL Class A Shop Driver – Full-Time (Winston-Salem)

Salem Leasing is looking for a dependable CDL Class A Driver to join our Winston-Salem team. This full-time role involves moving equipment, supporting other drivers, and ensuring safe, compliant transport of equipment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Move equipment (tractors, trailers) as needed and transport other drivers using company vehicle.
• Hook/unhook trailers and operate landing gear as required.
• Safely drive trucks to destinations following federal regulations (up to 11 hours driving followed by 10 consecutive hours off duty).
• Maintain driver logs, fuel/mileage records, and compliance documentation per state and federal regulations.
• Verify shipping documents (manifests, bills of lading, security seals) and ensure proper paperwork accompanies each load.
• Report accidents, delays, or equipment issues promptly.
• Follow all company policies and federal, state, and local regulations for safe vehicle operation.
